Developed in Italy, the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches to preschool and primary education has inspired countless teachers around the world. Learn more about these international influences on education when you visit the Malaguzzi International Centre and other schools in the Rome area. You will also connect with other passionate students and teachers during visits to local schools and gain insight into how educational practices have changed over time when you visit the oldest university in the world.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of hotel/hostel overnight accommodations.
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must contact the program leader, Cathleen Hunt. The leaders will then meet with applicants before they are accepted for the program. After this, students must commit to the trip by December 6, 2019.
