This spring break course to San Salvador, Bahamas is an integral part of Geosc 410: Marine Biogeochemistry. Students design field projects during the first two months of the semester to be conducted on the excursion, and then analyze and present their data to the class upon their return. Community service is a part of the field excursion.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of overnight accommodation at a student dormitory.
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must contact Lee Kump.
