Costa Rica Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources This course focuses on sustainable agriculture, natural resources, and biodiversity. Students will also cover other topics including soil, water, entomology, and alternative energy. Additionally, students will have an opportunity to learn about ecotourism and the relationship between the Costa Rican culture and agriculture.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of overnight accommodations in a hotel/hostel or dormitory/student residence
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must contact the program leader and submit a written application by Nov. 15th and have an interview.
