New Zealand Sustainability and Natural Resources, Environmental Resource Management, College of Ag Sciences. This course focuses on natural resources, climate change and sustainability. Other topics covered include soil, water, entomology, plate tectonics and topography. Agricultural topics including bee keeping, oenology and Maori culture will be discussed. All Penn State students are welcome to participate.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of hotel accommodations.
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must submit an application. The application process takes place in the spring 2018 semester, with deposits due before the end of April. Interviews are conducted to ensure there is a good fit, and interest in the topics and course material. GPA, student interest, are considered. The registration for this course has passed- it is fully enrolled.
