Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship program (HESE) students will be traveling to Kisumu, Kenya to test the business models and technologies that they have been working on with their community partners. Student will work in seven groups with Penn State mentors. This course is only open to students in EDSGN 452 or with permission of instructor.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of overnight accommodations at a dormitory/student residence.
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must contact program leader.
