This Spring break trip is embedded in with a course in International Hospitality Management. We will spend three days in the Priorat wine region near Barcelona learning about Catalan wine, artisan cheese and charcuterie, followed by two days in the historic town of Montblanc in the Conca de Barbaera region where we will explore the medieval town, thave a traditional bread making workshop, and visit a vermouth maker in Reus. We will finish the week with two days in Barcelona learning about architect Antoni Gaudi and Catalan Modernist architecture and visiting the famous Boqueria Market.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of - information regarding housing is not available at this time.
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must contact program leader.
