This program is part of the Sheetz Fellows program at Penn State Altoona. It is a requirement of this program for participating students who are from different majors to study abroad. This students in the program are Juniors and Seniors at the time that they travel abroad. This faculty led program provides the students with the opportunity to apply their in class learning over three or four years to hand's on experience with businesses, small and large, in Europe. This cohort of students has already worked with businesses in the US prior to travel, so can deepen their appreciation for the complexity of business creation across the world.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of - Information regarding housing is not available at this time.
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must be interviewed for admission into the Sheetz Program their sophomore year. The interview process is with the faculty of the program and the board.
