This program covers a week long educational trip to Guanajuato, Mexico. The students will experience: joint educational sessions focusing on cross cultural communications, international business, and the arts; culture and history of the Unesco World Heritage city of Guanajuato and its surroundings including Dolores Hidalgo, the birthplace of Mexican independence; plant tour of global auto manufacturer and its supplier; local import/export company and its contribution to the local community; regional chamber of commerce discussing US/Mexico and international business relationship. Upon return, students are expected to write a report to reflect their learnings.
During the embedded travel component, housing will consist of lodging in host university's dormitories.
The process for enrolling in an embedded course varies according to the instructor and/or department. The program leader has indicated that in order to enroll in the course and travel component, students must be interviewed by program leader.
