Education Abroad Adviser

Karyn advises for programs in Asia, Eastern Europe, France, Belgium, Canada, Greece and temporarily Ireland.

All Spring 2018 study abroad applicants:
Karyn will be out of the office between 3/20/17 - 4/4/17. If you want to apply to a Spring 18 study abroad program, please meet with a Peer Adviser in 426A Boucke. They accept walk-in students from 11am - 4pm. To learn how to get started, please attend a Study Abroad 101 session.

Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan:  Friday: 2:30pm - 4pm (Claudia)
China: Tuesday: 1:30pm - 2:30pm; Wednesday 1pm - 2pm; (Sally)
Prague: Monday 1pm - 2pm; Thursday 3pm - 4pm; (Peter)
Japan: Thursday 1:30pm - 3pm; Friday 11am -12pm (Emily)

IES Adviser Walk-In Hours: On April 5th from 1:30PM - 5PM in 424 Boucke, come speak to Kate from IES about any IES program that you are interested in.  



Karyn studied abroad in Beijing, China and Tokyo, Japan as an undergraduate student and in Grahamstown, South Africa during her Master's program. Karyn graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. in Asian Studies and went on to graduate from Syracuse University with a Master's degree in Higher Education. She is passionate about traveling, learning about different cultures and eating tasty food.
