Kate advises for programs in Italy, Greece, and Croatia.
As an undergraduate student, Kate studied in Salamanca, Spain. Studying abroad ignited her interest in international travel and education abroad; since then she has taught English in Chile, volunteered in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, and visited many other countries in Latin America and Europe. In 2013, she accompanied Penn State faculty and students to Tanzania as an embedded member of the Mang'ula: Parks and People education abroad program. More recently, she has been involved in developing Penn State's international engagements in Cuba.
